Garage Floor Mats

Summer 2020 seemed like the summer of home projects 😅 Spending so much time at home meant many projects staring at us in the face. One of those projects we tackled was painting the garage floors. When we moved in, the previous owners had left a garage floor epoxy painting kit. It must have been a project they intended to do and never got around to it. When we lived in our town house in the city our garage floor was painted and we loved the look. With all the time we had on our hands this summer we went ahead and painted our garage floor. Now, we needed something to keep it clean! Below is the Epoxy kit we used in the color sand –

Not only do we have winter we also have mud seasons. We needed something to protect our garage floor from snow, ice, mud, leaves, you know, all the elements! These garage floor mats are awesome. They are heavy and do not slide or move around, even after multiple uses of your car. The sides of the mat are inflated just enough that the water stays within the mat after the snow melts off your car. We use a squeegee to push the water off the mat into our driveway.
