Black & White Guest Bathroom
Over the weekend I posted a picture of my favorite bathroom re-do in our entire house. Our house has six bathrooms total π Way too many toilets to clean… We renovated four of the six bathrooms, so I have some work to do in the future π The black and white guest bathroom is by far my favorite. I love bathroom renovations because I genuinely feel like it’s a room you can be bold with your designs. I found I fell so neutral in many of our rooms and really went for it in the bathrooms. It is so easy to incorporate, fun tiles, wallpaper, bold hardware a fun paint…

Flannel Crib Sheets!
Winter is well on his way and the nights are so very cold in our house βοΈ One way we cozy up the nursery is using the Vornadobaby Tempa NurseryΒ Space Heater we love it and use it everyday. Another way we keep Lulu warm at night is to switch her summer crib sheets for some snuggly flannel crib sheets. Amazon has the cutest patterns for flannel crib sheets. I just couldn’t resist this adorable pink Christmas pattern. They also have this pattern in blue for your little boy. Lulu loves to look at the animals and we talk about the snowmen and the reindeer, it’s a fun thing to…

Products you didn’t know you needed…
My hubby tends to find a product, mostly on Amazon, that he believes is a solution to one of his many household “problems.” His latest “problem” was the amount of hair he finds on our bathroom floor π Since I have been talking baby lately let’s touch on how much hair us women actually shed postpartum π³ So many Moms would say this to me and I’d think “yea ok” but they were 100% right, it’s like half my head of hair started falling out. Hubby was not keen on finding strands in his toes (sorry if that is too much information LOL) I wasn’t super excited about it either…

My Crockpot, The Original Slow Cooker Review
Yesterday I made the best soup in my crockpot, using my prep sink of course π We are a soup obsessed family, especially in the winter time. I usually make a soup in the crockpot twice a month just to have in the fridge. My sister came across this recipe one year after Christmas. It is Holly’s slow cooker corn chowder from her blog Spend With Pennies she has one of my favorite food blogs! We do alter it and use honey cured ham instead of bacon, we did this originally to use up the Christmas ham leftovers and it was so good. Last year I purchased my Crockpot, after…

Coffee & Tea Junkie Hostess Gift
My sister gifted me the Coffee & Tea Junkie Pour-Over Advent Calendar. Such a fun gift idea for a coffee lover βοΈ Or if you have decided to enjoy a safe Thanksgiving with a small group, what a great hostess gift this would be! It comes with 24 packs of coffee so you can enjoy a fresh cup everyday until Christmas. Here is the best part… Each day is a surprise flavor π I think that is so fun. If you are gifting to a Keurig loving family, she makes a K Cup Advent Calendar too. You don’t even need a coffee maker for the pour over coffee. She includes…

Prep Sink
The prep sink might seem like a silly addition to your kitchen but trust me it’s worth it. If you are currently building or renovating I highly recommend you add a prep sink. Many people today are putting their sinks right into their kitchen islands, I love this look. However, our sink looked out a beautiful large window and I wanted to keep it that way, so I decided to put a prep sink in the island instead. I enjoy prepping right on the island so I can still engage with family and friends. The prep sink makes this so easy to clean my veggies, meat and do all my…

New Baby – Bottles & Formula
Here comes the third post in my new baby series dedicated to my BFF Lola and her bundle of joy coming on New Years Eve! Lola asked me the question we all ask ourselves before giving birth, what if breastfeeding doesn’t work for me? Real talk, breastfeeding is HARD. I had very unrealistic expectations of breastfeeding as I’d known a few friends to breastfeed their kids with ease (or so I thought). Getting personal here, breastfeeding was very important to me, I knew the health benefits were essential to Lulu. I tried… but here is the thing, no one tells you beforehand how to breastfeed, how to pump, when your…

New Baby – Postpartum Items to Have at Home
Welcome to the second post in my New Baby series that I am putting together for my best friend, she is having her first baby on New Years Eve! Ok, so, your hospital bag is packed and ready to go, now it is time to think about what postpartum items you should have handy when you return home. The hospital provides many essential items for your stay, but your postpartum care continues long after you leave. If you are like me, you spent nine months preparing for baby and zero time preparing for your postpartum needs. I owe my survival of postpartum to my Mother and two Mama friends π…

New Baby – The Hospital Bag
Let’s be real here, pregnancy is an all around overwhelming emotional process. From start to finish π especially your first. We brought Lulu into this world July of 2019 and it rocked our world, in a good way, of course but having your first child is life changing! That being said, my very best friend is due with her first, a little boy on New Years Eve, so I am dedicating this series of posts to her. I hope this helps other new or soon to be Mama’s out there! π This post is all about the hospital bag π What to bring, what not to bring, what the…
