    Wrapping Paper Storage

Christmas is quickly approaching and if you are like me wrapping is in full swing! I absolutely love wrapping gifts. I know, sounds crazy, but I do. My plan one day is to create a wrapping nook in my office! When I say wrapping nook, this is what I mean, a hutch with enough table space for wrapping. • Kitchen Island Prep Sink

    Prep Sink

The prep sink might seem like a silly addition to your kitchen but trust me it’s worth it. If you are currently building or renovating I highly recommend you add a prep sink. I loved the open layout of our home, but didn’t care for the break in flooring, it went from tile to carpet to engineered hardwood all on one level. Ultimately, we decided on a wide plank white oak engineered hardwood. We had it installed throughout our entire house and I love how flowing the open layout it feels now. During the installation I could not picture what…

  • Making A Home OUR Home

Hello friends! Today on Our Pretty Life I will be sharing a bit about our entire home remodel. After weighing the choice to build or buy we ultimately decided on buying because we LOVED the plot of land and the location of the home and could not find open land that came close to meeting all our wants. We purchased our dream home in August of 2018, with every intention of remodeling it. Now that the remodel is said and done… we should have built ๐Ÿ˜… I learned quickly how custom my taste truly was and that can be challenging when the house already stands. Let’s talk contractors, real quick.…
