Did you know you can buy vent covers that match your flooring?! 😮 You probably did 😅 I was late to the party on this one! When I started the design process I knew I wanted the same flooring throughout the entire house. I loved the open layout of our home, but didn’t care for the break in flooring, it went from tile to carpet to engineered hardwood all on one level. Ultimately, we decided on a wide plank white oak engineered hardwood. We had it installed throughout our entire house and I love how flowing the open layout it feels now.
During the installation I could not picture what type of vents would compliment our floors and then our contractor opened my eyes to all the vent cover possibilities! Our vent covers, pictured below, were custom made out of pieces of our flooring. I have no doubt the stock white/light oak covers would have worked just fine as well!
