The best part about this savory breakfast is it only has three ingredients. Sausage, cream cheese, and a pastry square. That’s it! Check out the simple recipe below –

Sausage Cream Cheese Roll Up

Prep Time 20 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Crescent Dough Sheets You can use crescent rolls and press the dough together to make a rectangle.
  • 1 block 8oz Cream Cheese Feel free to use flavored cream cheese. I have used the garden vegetable and it is delicious!
  • 1 lb Breakfast Sausage My family loves using the maple flavor. Pick your favorite breakfast sausage!

Method
 

  1. Cook and crumble the breakfast sausage in a pan on the stove
  2. Once the sausage is cooked and crumbly add scoops of cream cheese and stir until all the cream cheese is melted and mixed with the sausage
  3. Lay out crescent dough squares on a non-stick baking sheet
  4. Spoon sausage cream cheese mixture on to the crescent dough squares. Spread the mixture evenly to cover the crescent dough square
  5. Roll the crescent dough square up and bake according the the dough's instructions
